Meet the co-founders
Cyrus Gorjipour and Salim Sader co-founded the company in 2016 with the mutual belief that everyone in the world has the capacity to change their own lives and the lives of others. Cyrus was sliding between the cracks of the educational system as a teenager. He felt aimless, was failing school, and had given up hope for a bright future. He was a failure, according to his school’s, his parents, and his own standards. Salim wanted to be a teacher since he was a child. He worked hard, had a terrific career, and then realized something horrible the year he was up for tenure. The educational system is ineffective. Young adults are under a lot of pressure to live up to society’s standards and to fit into a box that dictates their worth and potential. They cannot, however, be characterized solely by their grades; they are much more than that. He decided to give up teaching in order to create a community of people who support one another in their pursuits of greatness.
When Salim and Cyrus shared their stories, they talked about how young adults are still grappling with the same issues that Cyrus had.
