Anna, her husband, and their two children, who are 4 and 6 years old, reside in Blue Mountain, Canada. A former professional pop singer and actress. Model and casting associate, Anna has experience across entertainment, marketing and entrepreneurship. She is a first-generation Canadian success story. Anna aspired to help women gain ownership of their careers and use their unique skills and talents to build generational wealth. Anna came from humble beginnings, emigrating two times before starting a new life in Canada. She has built a strong foundation for her family and business and is passionate about helping other parents achieve a life they love no matter their circumstances.
She dropped out of university in her sixth year. She decided to follow her childhood ambition of being a recording artist. She worked incredibly hard and bootstrapped. It was a taste of entrepreneurship and a practice run for what managing a genuine business and brand would entail. She became pregnant at the peak of her musical career and left the company to experience this gift and give birth to her first child. She rediscovered herself and threw herself totally into business.
Total Mom was born after attending a vastly popular baby tradeshow. She realized she was not alone in her quest for self-awareness, professional clarity, and guilt-free living. The empowered moms, with a mission to support women who become parents, hoping to obtain support in all areas of their lives, inspired her. She found that advancing professionally as an entrepreneur made the uphill road noticeably harder for her as a new mom. She intended to begin by organizing a festival where mothers could network with professionals and receive assistance in all areas of life and career. She partnered with some of the biggest brands in North America to launch The Total Mom Show, Canada’s largest holistic event for moms.

Anna Sinclair has a variety of positions and duties. She serves as the CEO and spokesperson. Since she has been leading all corporate divisions for almost five years, she has engaged her team to complete playbooks detailing the systems and procedures to delegate & scale the company into new geographical markets.
Initially, planning events and selling were a big part of the job. Anna had to bootstrap and build the brand from scratch, which led to many branding, design, and creative responsibilities. She switched from being visionary and creative to working on producing entrepreneurship programs and events. She recently enrolled a former IBM/Microsoft senior executive to help develop a global online platform and business academy that offers accountability, coaching, entrepreneurship master classes and specialty programs.
Total Mom is an organization that confronts the constraints that parents face and works to advance societal progress and economic recovery, and equality. Anna continues establishing connections as a reliable lifestyle brand that advocates for equal opportunities for women, puts the spotlight back on mothers and empowers them. The role will focus less on the business and more on guiding the team as they launch new products and services and build long-term partnerships.
Nothing is Beyond Your Power to Overcome
Anna Sinclair experienced many failures along the way and said keeping a constructive outlook when conquering obstacles is critical. Start-ups are overwhelmed with the rise of technology/software and the tech stack needed for business growth. It often leads to analysis paralysis or holding up projects with new learning curves. Leadership skills are essential to practice when growing a team; however, it’s necessary to act and learn from your mistakes as best as possible when a failure occurs.
Total Mom Inc. faced a massive loss of revenue when the global pandemic occurred. Anna overcame that challenge by steering the company in a virtual direction, changing how the company conducted business. She believes she made the best decision for her audience and industry. Anna believes that risk and failure might be unsettling, but if your beliefs are strong and your thinking is strong, there is nothing you can’t overcome. A successful company overcomes turbulent times, and leadership must have the ability to make agile decisions and stay strong in the company values when redefining new business models. Anna welcomed the challenge and listened to her gut when structuring a new business model during the economic changes.
Measuring Success
Anna Sinclair defines entrepreneurship as an over-glamorized series of failures that ultimately contribute to the growth of leadership abilities on a personal and professional level. It represents what you consider to be a success. You won’t achieve true success if money is the sole thing motivating you.
Like many others who pursue success, Anna’s definition of it has evolved as she learned about her driving forces, the growth and healing she needed to experience, and what was important to her. Success for her is defined as having a positive relationship with herself and the outside world. Happiness, alignment, confidence in decisions, and having a strong sense of positive influence and impact serve as her success indicators.
Success looks different for everyone, and Anna describes how the ceiling can often rise higher, which is why having a solid idea of what it truly means to be successful is hugely important. Anna discovered that money could not purchase meaningful relationships, health, or a healthy mind after meeting millionaires and billionaires on her recent journeys travelling and attending business conferences. It involves learning, personal development, and emotional intelligence and is deeply personal to each person.

Total Mom will also announce their 5 million dollar grant initiative in partnership with BarterPay Canada and a series of programs in collaboration with central banks and marketing companies.
