Have you ever considered what life might be like without the sun? Is it possible to have a thought? No, as we all know, the sun is a source of light for the earth, the moon, and all of the necessities that humans require to live because everything reflects the sun’s light. They receive light from the sun, which makes them essential and valuable. That’s how the phrase goes, “We Shine Bright So That Others Shine Brighter.” We have a brightness that demonstrates both our utility and our limitations. One learns from the experiences of others and then adds to them, accumulating knowledge. The chain is still going strong. The brightness continues to rise. Following this legacy, Vicki Wright Hamilton, Founder & CEO of VWH Consulting, spreads her shine to assist organisations worldwide as a visionary advisor with an eye for excellence through her work.
Vicki Wright-Hamilton is an Executive Technology Consultant with more than thirty years of experience in the field. She founded VWH Consulting with the aim of developing a digital technology strategy. VMH Consulting thrives in the areas of technology optimization, change and program management, organizational improvements, and the personal and professional transformation of its executives. Vicki wears a lot of hats as the Founder & CEO of VWH Consulting. As a senior technology strategist, change management advisor, and executive leadership coach, she helps organizations achieve their goals.
In 2020, she started two shows, “Hidden Stories, Healed Now” and “Strategic Minds: Making Money Moves,” to assist women in combining work and home life. Both shows can be seen in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and California, as well as on YouTube and other streaming platforms.
Modeling the Behaviour
Vicki Wright Hamilton is a change management specialist with a proven track record of transforming people’s lives and propelling organisations to new heights. She is the proudest of positive change outcomes as they progress through the change process. Like any business, her career as an entrepreneur has been full of ups and downs. The satisfaction of seeing positive results for her clients, on the other hand, has been rewarding.
By leading by example, Vicki ensures that the organization has a culture of honesty and innovation. As the CEO of VWH Consulting, she is dedicated to setting the tone and demonstrating the conduct that she demands from her employees. Diversity of thought is critical in the quest to be a leader in the industry’s innovation. Her team understands they can come to her with any idea or problem; the door is always open. She holds both the team and herself to a high standard of performance.
“We are always willing to try, test, and try again.”-says Vicki Wright Hamilton.
Lifelong Learners
Everyone should strive to be lifelong learners. Everyone can be more open to taking risks and moving outside of their comfort zones when we adopt this learning posture. Vicki’s philosophy is to take “measured risks.” Those risks are identified by the realisation that she may fail, but regardless of the outcome, she will receive additional value, experience, or exposure.
“I have failed so many times. When I fail, it is simply the first attempt at learning. “– says Vicki Wright Hamilton
Many years ago, Vicki took on the challenge of becoming the COO of the largest privately-held digital advertising company in the movie industry. Setting up the tempo of meetings and having speakers to drive the sales thought process were all part of her strategy. She would travel around the country with the sales teams to meet with consumers and learn about their different selling approaches. This was the most enjoyable aspect of her career. Especially when she was able to assist in the closing of a contract and see the “green” begin to flow.
Vicki failed when she was unable to comprehend the overall thinking of salespeople. To begin with, they will never tell you what they are working on because they do not want to be held accountable. Second, they don’t enjoy adding information to the systems. As a result, the prediction failed miserably. Finally, they dislike sharing; they all want to be the “best” salesperson and earn prizes. However, Vicki discovered that she never wanted to directly lead salespeople. She also learned about other skills and the mindset required for salespeople to succeed.
What is success?
Vicki considers that success means leaving a legacy for her children and grandchildren. It’s also crucial to make an impression on young business and technology professionals. She believes in giving back, and she has held leadership positions with groups like Women in Technology and Growing Leaders. “Each one teaches one,” as her mother instilled, is a mantra Vicki sincerely lives by.
Vicki advises, “Don’t wait to be invited to the table; bring your own chair and demonstrate your value.”
Vicki stays focused on her goals and guides others to achieve their dreams too. She advises future female leaders to be brave, daring, and advocate for themselves. Finding mentors and sponsors to assist you is also critical to your personal and professional success.
Growth beyond Imagination
Technology strategy, change management, and program management offered by VWH Consulting never go off track. These services enable it to work with leaders to establish transformation or advancement strategies through coaching. Vicki claims the company will continue to provide executive coaching to those who want to advance their careers. As it continues to serve in the transformation and leadership spaces, the company appears to grow and increase its client base with more national clients.
As CEO, she will continue to learn and broaden her understanding of the difficulties that organisations and sectors face in the future. This will be accomplished through education, conferences, reading, and event participation, among other things. In addition, she will continue to speak at events and expand her important network to assist companies and other leaders with their problems.
“My purpose is to see each grow and develop beyond their imaginations and succeed at the art of the possible.” – says Vicki
